Luckenwalde County Administration Building — PV Functional Tendering

During the second pha­se of the pro­ject, watts assis­ted the Tel­tow-Flä­ming dis­trict in the prac­ti­cal pre­pa­ra­ti­ons for instal­ling the pho­to­vol­taic sys­tem on the dis­trict admi­nis­tra­ti­on buil­ding in Lucken­wal­de. This included draf­ting a func­tion­al scope of work for the plan­ning, instal­la­ti­on, ope­ra­ti­on, main­ten­an­ce, moni­to­ring, and direct mar­ke­ting of the PV sys­tem, as well as pro­vi­ding tech­ni­cal exper­ti­se during the pro­cu­re­ment pro­cess. The goal was to estab­lish a tech­ni­cal­ly sound, con­tract-rea­dy basis for the imple­men­ta­ti­on of the first pha­se of the PV expan­si­on on buil­ding sec­tions B2 through B6.

Your Medical Supply Store — Energy Audit DIN 16247

For OTB GmbH, a medi­cal sup­p­ly com­pa­ny ope­ra­ting nati­on­wi­de with its head­quar­ters in Ber­lin, watts con­duc­ted an ener­gy audit in accordance with DIN EN 16247–1 using a mul­ti-site approach. The focus was on ana­ly­zing ener­gy con­sump­ti­on for elec­tri­ci­ty, heat, and the vehic­le fleet; con­duc­ting on-site assess­ments of repre­sen­ta­ti­ve loca­ti­ons; and iden­ti­fy­ing cost-effec­ti­ve effi­ci­en­cy mea­su­res. This resul­ted in a prio­ri­ti­zed imple­men­ta­ti­on plan with mea­su­res for hea­ting and ven­ti­la­ti­on opti­miza­ti­on, con­ver­si­on to LED light­ing, impro­ve­ment of the meter­ing struc­tu­re, and the intro­duc­tion of a stan­dar­di­zed con­sump­ti­on moni­to­ring sys­tem.

Feasibility study “Blechenstrasse heating solution”

Fea­si­bi­li­ty stu­dy for the heat sup­p­ly of a resi­den­ti­al com­plex in Ber­lin: ana­ly­sis of the exis­ting natu­ral gas-based situa­ti­on, tech­no-eco­no­mic com­pa­ri­son of dis­trict hea­ting and heat pump solu­ti­ons as pos­si­ble alter­na­ti­ves with CO₂ pri­ce risk assess­ment. Goal: Effi­ci­ent, resi­li­ent heat sup­p­ly for 67 resi­den­ti­al units.

Expert sup­port for a VGV school buil­ding com­pe­ti­ti­on with a focus on indoor air qua­li­ty, ther­mal com­fort in win­ter and effec­ti­ve heat pro­tec­tion in sum­mer. The hea­ting, coo­ling and power sup­p­ly for the Toom store in Hano­ver was ana­ly­zed. The ana­ly­sis focu­sed on the eco­no­mic ana­ly­sis for the con­ver­si­on of natu­ral gas-based heat gene­ra­ti­on to dis­trict hea­ting.

Energy concept and implementation consulting

Sin­ce 2025, the­re has been a new ener­gy sup­p­ly for the www.stechlin-institut.org. In the midd­le of the forest, a water-bea­ring wood-bur­ning sto­ve pro­vi­des cozy warmth in sel­ec­ted zones on cold days. A geo­ther­mal heat pump pro­vi­des the basic tem­pe­ra­tu­re, sup­ple­men­ted by solar ther­mal ener­gy for hot water. Pho­to­vol­taic modu­les and trans­lu­cent PV ele­ments on the ter­race roof match the roof. An elec­tric char­ging sta­ti­on com­ple­tes the infra­struc­tu­re. The result is an ener­gy-effi­ci­ent sys­tem that blends har­mo­nious­ly into the tran­quil, natu­ral set­ting.
Watts sup­port­ed the design and the appli­ca­ti­on for fun­ding.
