Engineering Consultancy Collective

for integrated energy and building technology — efficient, robust, sustainable

Techno-economic consulting, funding advisory and system planning to turn resilient energy and building concepts into reality — based in Berlin.

The watts engineering collective brings together more than 15 years of experience in energy and building technology. We focus on developing resilient, economically viable energy systems and supporting their implementation for stakeholders across the energy and real estate sectors, municipalities, research institutions and non-profit organizations.

Insight into our

Projects

The project overview provides an insight into our work as an engineering office. Using selected projects, we show how we support companies and organizations in the development and implementation of individual solutions — in a practical, goal-oriented and cooperative manner.

Goals

watts develops robust, future-proof energy and building technology solutions for current and future generations

Our aim is to create efficient, durable and low-tech systems that guarantee thermal comfort, convenience and operational reliability. By intelligently networking energy sources and sinks, we create price-stable, resource-saving energy systems that are highly suitable for everyday use.

Premises

Sufficiency. The responsible use of natural resources such as the atmosphere and raw materials forms the basis of our work at watts. We develop customized systems — not too big, not too small — that are precisely tailored to the actual needs of the users.

Efficient. In addition to the consistent reduction of energy losses through efficiency measures, watts places particular emphasis on energy recycling: the use of existing energy, for example from recooling plants or commercial waste heat from the neighborhood.

Participative. The creation of social common good is a central maxim of watts. We foster open and trusting cooperation — both internally within the team and in projects. We involve relevant stakeholders in a targeted manner and take different perspectives into account.
